    Registered Nurse Director - Emergency Services

    RN DIR - ED

    Full-Time

    Registered Nurse Director candidates for the Emergency Services Department will have the following job responsibilities:

    • The Director of Emergency Services ensures high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s) and department(s), in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. 
    • The Director of Emergency Services fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

    Registered Nurse Director - Emergency Services

    RN DIR - ED

    Full-Time

    Registered Nurse Director candidates for the Emergency Services Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in nursing Required
    • Master's Degree Preferred
    • 3+ years applicable acute care leadership experience required
    • 5+ years applicable Emergency Services experience required

    Candidate Requirements (Non‑Negotiable)

    • Regulatory compliance expertise — Must demonstrate solid, hands‑on knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to emergency services.
    • Trauma leadership experience — Must have served as a Director (or equivalent leadership role) in a Level I or Level II trauma center within a large, high‑volume ER comparable to Mission.
    • Minimum tenure requirement — Candidates with fewer than 3–5 years of the above trauma leadership experience will not be considered.
    • Performance metrics on résumé — Quantifiable outcomes (KPIs, improvements, operational metrics) must be included.
    • Stable work history — Candidates with a pattern of frequent job changes (every 1–2 years) will not move forward.
    • Prefer union experience but not required
