- Experience: Minimum 1 year inpatient dialysis experience, specific skills in accessing fistulas and catheters, working independently in critical care settings

What Youll Do- Provide specialized dialysis care to inpatients on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, including accessing fistulas and catheters
- Monitor and assess patient condition, ensuring safety and comfort during treatments
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members on patient care plans
- Traverse between multiple facilities within the network, maintaining flexibility in assignments
- Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR for accurate charting and documentation
- Support unit operations, including covering charge nurse shifts as needed
- Follow safety protocols, including competency assessments and adherence to infection control practices
What You Need- Required:
- RN license in Louisiana or appropriate state
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 1 year inpatient dialysis experience
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Critical thinking skills and independence in delivering care
- Preferred:
- Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) or Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN)
- Experience with Braun dialysis machines and water system functionality
- Experience working across multiple facilities and floating
