Experience with: AAA repair, CABG, Atrial Septal Defect Repair, Cardiomyoplasty, femoral cannulation, IABP, MAZE procedure, Mitral Valve replacement, Pericardial Window, LVAD/RVAD. It is the region s only Level I Trauma Center (Adult & Pediatrics), Magnet-designated for nursing excellence, and affiliated with the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine.

SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

" Shift hours: 5x8s, 645a-315p, plus call (weekend and evening call)

" Weekend Requirement: Weekend call rotation with staff

" On call requirement: Call rotation with staff

" RTO, Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included in the submission

" Call off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2-weeks

" Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday per 13-week contract.

" Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

" Locals Accepted? No locals accepted. Refer to Submittal Instructions for radius rule criteria.

" Pending License Accepted: Yes, only if the candidate holds a single-state license from a non-compact state. Otherwise, submission must include an active Virginia State or Compact RN/LPN license.
