    Registered Nurse – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

    Pro Med Healthcare Services is looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a specialized surgical team, providing exceptional perioperative nursing care to cardiovascular patients.

    • Start Time: ASAP
    • Shift: 7a-7p
    • Contract duration: 13 week
    • On Call: 1 weekend of call a month plus 1-2 days of call during the week.
    • Estimated Pay Package: $2100

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures.
    • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during CVOR surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety protocols.
    • Monitor patient vital signs and status throughout surgical procedures and recovery phases.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize surgical outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, surgical interventions, and post-operative assessments.
    • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control protocols.

    Requirements

    Job Requirements:

    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
    • Minimum of 1 years of experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in cardiovascular surgical settings.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
    • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and CVOR procedures.
    • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
    • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
