Registered Nurse - Correctional - $2,074 per week

GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse Correctional for a travel nursing job in Cumberland, Maryland.

Corrections – RN – Nights
Start Date: TBD - they have orientation every other Monday 
Length: 13 weeks 
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per week: Generally 40 hours/week; exact schedule confirmed upon interview/placement.
OT Opportunities? Yes, subject to approval.
Float Requirements: Client does not anticipate nurses floating between facilities.
Extension Opportunities? Dependent on performance.
RTO Accepted? Submit requested time off upfront; otherwise determined by scheduling.
Holiday Requirement: Holidays are required if the scheduled shift falls on a holiday.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Certs: BLS,  First Aid/AED for RN roles.
License: Active Maryland RN license or applicable compact privilege.
Experience: 1+ year generally preferred; correctional experience preferred but not required.
Additional Information:

• Must pass Maryland state background investigation/security clearance.
• Candidates should not have criminal history of any kind.
• Fingerprinting is completed in Maryland after an offer is extended.
• Drug screen is completed by GQR after the candidate is offered a position.
• Client conducts its own background screening.
• Online training modules followed by 40–80 hours of supervisor shadowing.
• EMR: Unspecified/provided upon entry.
• Interview is dependent on resume strength. Client determines whether an interview is needed.
• If an interview is requested, the client contacts the candidate directly to schedule.
• No COVID vaccination required.
• Scrub color, facility-specific restrictions, parking, and prohibited items discussed during interview.
