Schedule: Days | Full-time

How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Coordinate comprehensive patient care within surgical services, serving as the go-to technical and functional expert for the clinical staff.
  • Manage daily shift operations, including staff scheduling, resource allocation, and the coordination of surgical activities.
  • Lead the orientation and training of new associates. You’ll oversee their progress and provide vital input for performance evaluations and professional growth.
  • Assign and monitor daily tasks, reviewing work progress to ensure the team stays on track and operates efficiently.
  • Keep the department high-performing by monitoring and reporting on compliance with healthcare policies, safety procedures, and clinical standards.
  • Oversee the utilization and maintenance of critical surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure the team always has what they need to succeed.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job
    transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of
    hire.
What additional requirements you'll need:
  • 1 year of leadership experience 
  • 2 years of OR experience
