What You'll Do
- Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the care team
- Administer medications safely in accordance with hospital policies
- Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record
- Communicate effectively with physicians and care team using SBAR
- Monitor patient conditions and escalate changes as needed
- Support infection control and patient safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement and patient experience initiatives
- Assist with patient throughput and discharge planning
What You Bring
- New graduate RN or less than 1 year of clinical experience
- Strong clinical judgment and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Current California RN license
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- AHA BLS certification
- AHA ACLS certification
- AHA PALS within 30 days of employment
- Annual Stroke Education within 30 days of employment
- LA City Fire Card within 30 days of employment
- Management of Aggressive Behavior within 30 days of employment
- NIHSS within 30 days of employment
