Registered Nurse (CICU)

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12H Rotating Days/Nights: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Rotating shifts per unit needs)
• Weekend Requirement: Up to 75% of shifts
• On Call Requirement: None

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the CICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt to various clinical settings as required within 35 miles of the originally assigned facility.

Requirements:

• Education: BSN required, will consider ADN with 6 years of experience.
• Licensure/Certification: Colorado RN license or multi-state compact license, PALS, ACLS, BLS.
• Minimum 2-3 years of staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU (pediatric CICU OH).
• Must have previous travel experience.
• Required Certifications: PALS Heartcode, ACLS Heartcode, BLS.

Preferred Skills:

• CCRN certification preferred.
• VAD experience preferred (please notate in work history comments).
• Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred.
