Registered Nurse - CICU

Summary:

• Duration: 13 Weeks (12/15/2026 - 03/20/2027)
• Shift: 12-Hour Rotating Days/Nights (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM / 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) based on unit needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in a Level Three CICU, focusing on Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Open Heart patients.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.

Requirements:

• BSN required; ADN accepted with minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Active Colorado RN License or Multi-State Compact License.
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting.
• Previous travel experience required.
• 50-Mile Radius Rule applies.

Preferred Skills:

• Pediatric CCRN strongly preferred.
• VAD (Ventricular Assist Device) experience preferred.
• Teaching Hospital experience strongly preferred.
• Preference to candidates who will work 1 winter holiday (Christmas 2026 or NY 2027).
