Registered Nurse/CCU

Required: ACLS / BLS / NIH / Interpretation of dysrhythmias / Management of dysrhythmias / Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR) / Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention / Sheath Removal. For example: LVAD, Impella, IABP, TVP are advanced cardiac devices that only CVICU or a strong CCU/ Cardiopulmonary ICU are trained to take.

What is needed is a strong cardiac ICU exp which usually is CCU or CVICU
This exp is needed because of the cardiac devices and cardiac dx that our patients often have. For example: LVAD, Impella, IABP, TVP are advanced cardiac devices that only CVICU or a strong CCU/ Cardiopulmonary ICU are trained to take

Cardiac/ medical intensive care patients as well as some step down overflow. Impella/ IABP/ vent/ CRRT/invasive lines/Hemodynamic monitoring

Shift: 3 x 12 hr
