    Facility: Ascension Medical Group Clinic

    Department: Cardiac Holding Recovery

    Schedule: 4–9-hour shifts | Shifts are rotating starting at 6:30am | Hours of operation are 06:30am-7pm daily.

    How you’ll make an impact in this role

    • Direct comprehensive patient care by executing tailored treatment plans and monitoring vital progress to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
    • Coordinate multidisciplinary care teams to align clinical specialists, therapies, and services around a seamless, patient-centered experience.
    • Advocate for patient safety by precisely carrying out physician orders and communicating real-time condition updates across the care team.
    • Drive holistic discharge planning alongside healthcare partners to prepare patients and families for a smooth, safe transition home.

    What minimum requirements you’ll need

    Licensure / Certification / Registration:

     

    • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
    • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


    Education:

     

    • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

    What additional preferences we're seeking

    • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ICU Stepdown, or Emergency Department (ED) preferred.
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
    • Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
    • Proficiency in bedside sedation required.
