Shift: 3x12 or 4x12s Nights 1900-0730
Floating is required to like units at this hospital or close by hospitals depending on need
Weekend coverage: Every other but may change based on need
Medication system: Pyxis & Omnicell
Must have at least one year of EPIC experience
Patient Diagnoses: Adult patients in observation status and inpatient overflow
Adult patients with chest pain/acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrythmias, diabetes, syncope, permanent pacemaker insertion, CVA / TIA / stroke work-up, pneumonia, heart failure, COPD, sepsis, and GI bleed.
Special procedures: Oconee Memorial Rapid Assessment Unit Services include, but are not limited to:
" Cardiac / Telemetry Monitoring
" Pulse Oximetry Monitoring
" Patient Assessment.
" Coordination of testing and procedures
" Collaboration with providers
" Acute Nursing Care
" Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop a patient specific plan of care.
Consultations with specialty services to include but not limited to cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, neurology.
Types of Procedures Performed:
Cardiac / telemetry monitoring
Permanent pacemaker pacing
TEE,
Negative pressure isolation (AFB)
Thoracentesis/Paracentesis
Level 3 administration of continuous intravenous infusions per Prisma Health policy
Level 3 IV Push medications for inpatient care per Prisma Health policy
Required certificates: SC RN license, ACLS, BLS and NIHSS
Requiring at least 1 year of experience in the field
Willing to review 1st time travelers depending on experience
