Location: Clinton, SC
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details
- Position Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 3 months
- Pay Rate: $47.00 $52.00 / Hour (USD)
- Shift / Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 Hours 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; every other weekend coverage (may change based on need)
- Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This Cardiac Telemetry nursing position supports an inpatient adult population with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. Common cardiovascular diagnoses include, but are not limited to, sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease. The patient population may also include cardiac patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation. Float is required to like units or to other facilities depending on need.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions
- Manage patients with common cardiovascular diagnoses including but not limited to sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and Coronary Artery Disease
- Administer and monitor IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation for cardiac patients
- Perform vasoactive drug administration
- Administer antiarrhythmic drug therapy
- Administer thrombolytic therapy
- Perform defibrillation/cardioversion
- Assist with thoracentesis
- Conduct cardiac telemetry monitoring
- Perform EKG
- Perform non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
- Float to like units or to other facilities depending on need
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience
Education Requirements
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- SC RN License required
Required Experience
- 2 years of experience in field requested; first-time travelers will be reviewed based on experience
