Key Responsibilities

• 
  Provide direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient Urology practice.
  
• 
  Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and urologic procedures.
  
• 
  Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
  
• 
  Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and treatment progress.
  
• 
  Develop and maintain individualized patient care plans.
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  
• 
  Manage patient communications, prescription refill requests, and callbacks.
  
• 
  Assist with prior authorizations as needed.
  
• 
  Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic medical records (EMR).
  
• 
  Complete medication administration records (MAR) and discharge documentation.
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
  
• 
  Follow infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality protocols.
  

Qualifications

• 
  Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license – Required
  
• 
  Bilingual Spanish/English – Required
  
• 
  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required
  
• 
  Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
  
• 
  Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
  
• 
  Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  
• 
  Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
  
• 
  Comfortable assisting with clinical procedures and administering medications.
  
• 
  Reliable transportation for travel between practice locations as needed.
  
• 
  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine clinical duties.
