BMT(14 & 15W James) - Oncology / Mixed acuity PCU and MS unit



Experience: Must have MS and inpatient hematology oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum). Chemo certification is required.

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
" Autologous Transplants: Patients receive their own stem cells.
" Syngeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.
" Allogeneic Transplants: Patients receive stem cells from their sibling, parent, or an unrelated donor.
" CAR-T Therapy

Certifications Required:
" Basic Life Support (BLS)
" Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification

Preferred Certifications:
" Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

COMPUTERIZED CHARTING
" EPIC experience required

Skills Required:
" MS/Tele (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry)
" Telemetry monitoring
" Interpretation of dysrhythmias
" Use of Rapid Response Teams
" Feeding tube care and management
" Blood product administration
" Central line blood draw
" Peripheral line care/management

If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.

The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. The WMC permit is available monthly.
WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage ***/month or *** per 100 days.
WB Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service ***/year.
CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 ***/year.

WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3 5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8 9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply.

Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3 5 weeks.
