    Job Title: Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Surgery Center

    Job Type: Full-time

    Location: Ambulatory Surgery Center

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgery Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the highest level of patient care and satisfaction to patients undergoing surgical procedures in our ambulatory setting.

    Job Duties:

    - Monitor patient vital signs and ensure all their needs are addressed during the surgical process
    - Provide pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative care according to established policies and procedures
    - Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and anesthesia as prescribed by the physician
    - Assess patients' conditions and make assessments for discharge
    - Provide pre-operative education and instructions to patients regarding their procedure, and postoperative
    - Work collaboratively with other clinical staff, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to ensure the surgical team is working effectively and efficiently
    - Maintain complete and accurate medical records
    - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or administration

    Qualifications:

    - Graduate from an accredited nursing program
    - Current and valid New York State RN license 
    - BLS & ACLS certification
    - Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-intensity surgical environments
    - Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
    - Must have strong decision-making skills

    Working Conditions:

    The Registered Nurse will typically work regular daytime hours, full-time, no nights, weekends or holidays! The job duties require the nurse to be on their feet for extended periods, perform heavy lifting or assist sedated elderly patients, and work with surgical equipment that is sensitive to electrical interference.
