Responsibilities:- Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and in accordance with state regulations and facility policies
- Document medication administration and report any changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Monitor residents for medication side effects, adverse reactions, and overall well-being
- Maintain accurate medication records and ensure proper storage and handling of medications
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide compassionate resident care
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care team members
- Adhere to all infection control, safety, and compliance standards
Requirements:- Active Registered Medication Aide (RMA) certification in the state of Virginia
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
- Prior experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or residential care setting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative care team
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care
