    CEFCU member service team members are critical to the success of the credit union. They provide a professional, knowledgeable, and caring experience when members contact us. We are looking for individuals who are personable, articulate, and positive to add to our already awesome team!

    Assists Financial Advisors in the areas of customer service, placing trades, complex problem resolution, and marketing to increase member satisfaction and the productivity and efficiency of the CEFCU Investment Services program. Maintains required licenses and continuing education/training. Performs discount brokerage functions. Backs-up the Investment Services Support Team as needed.

    Provides the highest quality member experience, for both internal and external members.

    Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

    Required:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • 0-2 years’ administrative assistant or member service experience.
    • Maintains Illinois Life/Health Insurance license and FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66, or Series 7, 63, and 65 or Series 7, 63, and 66 licenses, and be able to complete continuing education/testing requirements as needed to maintain professional licenses.
    • Computer literacy required including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and personal vehicle insurance.
    • Must be fingerprinted and pass FINRA’s background checks.
    • Must sign Broker-Dealer’s Registered Representative Agreement including non-solicitation clauses.
    • Sales support experience in investment operations.
    • Professional experience in securities and/or insurance industries.
    • Knowledge of investment and retirement products.

    Preferred:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
    • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems (i.e., Salesforce).
    • Proven history of meeting or exceeding established sales, referral, and up-sale goals.
    • Establish community involvement through local events and professional organization.
    • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

    Summary Pay Range

    The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $22.02 - $25.88.

    The pay range listed represents the anticipated starting range for a successful candidate. Final compensation will be based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.

    Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at CEFCU.
