About the Role:
Alamo City Healthy Kids and Families is looking for a passionate andĀ  skilled Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to work with adolescents, children and adults, providing nutrition care that supports long-term health and weight management success.Ā  In this rewarding role, you'll make a real difference in the lives of children and families by providing expert nutritional guidance and support.Ā 

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients
  • Develop individualized meal plans and dietary interventions tailored to each client's needs
  • Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling and education sessions
  • Educate patients and families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
  • Monitor and document client progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed
  • Lead community outreach programs and wellness workshops focused on healthy eating habits
  • Support families with culturally sensitive nutrition guidance and resources
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with clinic standards
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
  • Experience working with pediatric and adolescent population is a plus
  • Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse populations
  • Bilingual in English and SpanishĀ 
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a passion for community health
