Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Flexible Monthly Schedule – Brooklyn


IN-OFFICE (NOT REMOTE)

A modern community-based private medical practice located in Bushwick, Brooklyn is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our collaborative care team on a consulting basis.


This opportunity is ideal for a dietitian looking for flexible supplemental work while collaborating with nurse practitioners in a beautiful, newly built outpatient medical office focused on preventive care and chronic disease management.



POSITION DETAILS


Location: Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY (in-office / not remote) 

Schedule: 1–2 days per month (flexible scheduling)


Compensation: $40–$45 per hour, based on experience


Setting: Outpatient private practice / primary care clinic



RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Provide medical nutrition therapy and individualized nutrition counseling
  • Educate patients on nutrition related to diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular health, weight management, metabolic health, and preventive nutrition
  • Collaborate with nurse practitioners and clinical staff to support patient care plans
  • Document visits appropriately in the electronic medical record
  • Provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered counseling

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) – Required
  • Active New York State licensure/certification (or eligibility)
  • Comfortable working with children, adults, and geriatric patients
  • Strong patient education and communication skills
  • Experience in outpatient, primary care, or community health settings preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
