    Position Overview

    The Registered Dietitian will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutritional assessment, education, treatment planning, and ongoing dietary management for patients across a variety of clinical settings. This individual will play an important role in supporting patient recovery, rehabilitation, and overall wellness.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess patients' nutritional status, medical conditions, and dietary needs
    • Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on patient assessments and clinical goals
    • Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and families
    • Monitor and evaluate nutritional intake, tolerance, and outcomes
    • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
    • Calculate nutritional requirements and assist with specialized diet planning
    • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
    • Participate in patient rehabilitation and wellness initiatives through evidence-based nutritional interventions

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related field approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA)
    • Completion of a CADE-accredited supervised practice program
    • Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) through the ADA
    • Current Nevada Dietitian license required
    • Specialty certifications such as CDE, CNSD, CSP, or CDR preferred
    • Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care
