A LOOK AT YOUR DAY

At Oakhill Dental Associates, we believe our hygienists play an essential role in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.

You''ll have the opportunity to build lasting patient relationships, educate patients on preventive care, and collaborate closely with our dentist and team to provide exceptional treatment.

Our typical hygiene schedule includes:

• New Patient Appointments: 60-90 minutes
• Scaling & Root Planing (2 quadrants): 90 minutes
• Adult Prophylaxis: 60 minutes
• Approximately 7 patients per day
• Daily morning team huddle 15 minutes before opening

MEET YOUR TEAM

You''ll be joining a collaborative dental team that includes:

• One Dentist
• One Full-Time Lead Front Desk Coordinator
• Three Full-Time Front Desk Coordinators
• One Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist
• Two Full-Time Dental Assistants
• One Part-Time Hygiene Assistant
• Additional temporary hygiene support as needed

PRACTICE TECHNOLOGY & INFORMATION

• Practice Management Software: Currently Denticon, with plans to transition to Open Dental.
• Insurance: Accepts most insurance plans, excluding adult Medicaid.
• In-network with Delta Dental, TRICARE, and United Concordia.

WHAT WE''RE LOOKING FOR

We''re looking for an RDH who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and enjoys being part of a team that supports one another.

• Active Michigan Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Local anesthetic certification preferred, but not required.
• Strong understanding of periodontal health, preventive dentistry, and the connection between oral and overall health.
• Knowledge of OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Comfortable with digital charting and dental practice management software.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Friendly, compassionate, and dependable attitude.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow.

• Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Morning huddle begins 15 minutes before opening.
