 A LOOK AT YOUR DAY

At Cavanaugh Dental, our hygienists play an important role in providing exceptional care and creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient.

You'll work closely with our dentists and dental team to help patients maintain healthy smiles while building relationships that keep them coming back.

Our typical hygiene schedule includes:

• Approximately 8 patients per day
• Daily morning team huddle at 7:45 AM
• Comprehensive preventive and periodontal care
• Patient education focused on oral and overall health
• Collaboration with dentists and clinical team members to support excellent patient outcomes

MEET YOUR TEAM

You'll be joining a dedicated dental team that includes:

• Two Dentists
• Two Office Managers
• One Full-Time Front Desk Coordinator
• Two Registered Dental Hygienists
• Three Full-Time Dental Assistants
• One Part-Time Dental Assistant
• One Full-Time Hygiene Assistant
• Additional temporary hygiene support as needed

PRACTICE TECHNOLOGY & INFORMATION

• Practice Management Software: Denticon
• Team-focused environment with daily morning huddles
• Established practice with an emphasis on quality patient care and teamwork

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for a compassionate, dependable RDH who takes pride in delivering excellent care and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

• Active Michigan Registered Dental Hygienist license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Local anesthetic certification preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of OSHA sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Strong understanding of periodontal health, preventive dentistry, and the connection between oral and overall health.
• Comfortable with digital charting and dental practice management software.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• Friendly, positive, and professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a busy dental environment.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and embrace new techniques and feedback.
