Registered Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities:

• Collect medical and dental histories from patients
• Chart dental conditions based on dentists observations and evaluations
• Sterilize dental instruments and tools
• Instruct patients of all ages on proper dental hygiene and care
• Expose radiographs
• Provide any chair side assistance as necessary for routine hygiene visits
• Deep Scaling
• Anesthesia license (preferred, not required)
• Calling patients for overdue recare
• Stocking treatment areas and taking inventory
• Providing patient care and support
• Polish, floss and fluoride as needed
• Sealant application
• Updating patient record and exam notes
