    Dental Hygienist

    Location: Cohasset, MA 02025

    Pay Range: $50–$55/hour

    Annualized Range: Approximately $87,100 – $95,800 per year based on a 33.5-hour work week

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join a modern dental practice that prioritizes quality care, strong patient relationships, and a concierge-level clinical experience. This role supports one-hour recall appointments, thorough preventive care, and detailed clinical documentation in a safe and compliant working environment. Hygienists also have opportunities for professional growth through participation in a Hygiene Executive Committee that supports and leads the hygiene team.

    Schedule

    • Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
    • Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
    • Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
    • Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm

    Additional Notes

    • Previous periodontal experience preferred

    Responsibilities

    • Provide concierge-level care with exceptional chairside manner while building trust and rapport with patients
    • Enhance oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease and potential oral cancers
    • Thoroughly document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints
    • Take diagnostic x-rays and intraoral images to support treatment planning and monitor patient progress
    • Perform precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with treatment plans prescribed by the attending Dentist
    • Respond appropriately to sudden adverse developments during patient treatment and implement emergency measures when needed
    • Educate patients on at-home care and long-term oral health maintenance

    Qualifications

    • Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in Massachusetts
    • Current CPR/BLS certification
    • Strong working knowledge of comprehensive dentistry, including hygiene procedures, patient screening, and detailed clinical documentation
    • Any additional certification or licensure required by the state to perform assigned duties
    • Periodontal experience preferred
