Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and prophylactic treatments.
- Conduct periodontal screenings and charting.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
- Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay updated with continuing education and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Georgia.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene principles and procedures, as well as the ability to operate dental equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- CPR certification.
