    Registered Dental Hygienist

    Location: Shallotte, NC

    Position Type: Part-Time - Fridays only

    Schedule:

    Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

    Compensation

    • Hourly Rate: $38–$40/hour
    • Annualized Compensation: Approximately $9,880 – $10,400/year based on the current schedule

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist to join a modern, well-established dental practice in Shallotte, NC.     Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on education and trust-building
    • Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and preventive hygiene procedures
    • Conduct periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings
    • Take and interpret dental radiographs
    • Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
    • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
    • Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
    • Support a positive, efficient, and team-oriented clinical environment

    Qualifications

    • Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the state of North Carolina
    • Current CPR/BLS certification
    • Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
