    We are seeking a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to join a surgical dental practice in Walnut Creek. The practice offers a modern, state‑of‑the‑art clinical environment and a team‑oriented, fast‑paced workplace. Experience is a plus but not required; candidates should be team players with a positive attitude, a caring disposition, and a strong interest in learning and professional growth.

    Primary responsibilities and expectations:

    • Assist the surgical team during dental procedures and provide chairside support.
    • Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and instruments; maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
    • Obtain and document patient histories, take high‑quality intra‑oral photographs, and assist with digital imaging as needed.
    • Use practice management and charting software for documentation and scheduling; maintain accurate patient records.
    • Participate in 3D virtual surgery treatment planning workflows and related clinical processes (training provided).
    • Communicate effectively with dentists, co‑workers, and patients to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

    Technical and training requirements:

    • Computer literate with the ability to navigate practice management systems and electronic charting.
    • Proficiency with common office software, including Microsoft Word and Google Workspace.
    • Willingness to complete on‑the‑job training for clinical software, imaging systems, and intra‑oral photography techniques.
