A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Charge Nurse (RN) to join its Women’s Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. This full-time leadership role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while supporting staff development and promoting clinical excellence in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Provide direct nursing care and oversee the delivery of care for patients recovering in the Women’s PACU
Utilize effective leadership and managerial skills to coordinate daily patient care activities and unit operations
Serve as a professional role model and clinical resource for nursing team members
Promote evidence-based practices and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support staff development, education, and professional growth initiatives
Perform preceptor and charge nurse responsibilities as assigned
Facilitate communication and share organizational information with team members
Demonstrate professional accountability and commitment to continuous improvement
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
ACLS certification required if applicable to the department
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), healthcare-related bachelor's degree, or an approved RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification required within seven months of hire or promotion
Minimum of two years of Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting required
At least one year of PACU, emergency department, or critical care RN experience preferred
Previous leadership experience preferred
Nursing specialty certification preferred
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
