    What You'll Do

    As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients develop essential life and communication skills.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy following individualized treatment plans.
    • Implement behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA.
    • Collect accurate session data and document client progress.
    • Teach communication, social, play, academic, and daily living skills using evidence-based practices.
    • Support clients with activities of daily living when appropriate, including toileting, dressing, hygiene, and feeding.
    • Facilitate social skills groups and structured activities when assigned.
    • Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other members of the treatment team to support client progress.
    • Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
    • Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.

    Experience

    • 1–2 years of ABA experience preferred.
    • Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred.
    • Childcare, teaching assistant, classroom, or behavioral health experience is highly valued.

    Certification

    • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
    • Candidates without an RBT credential must be willing to obtain certification within 60 days of employment.
    • Adina ABA provides certification training and support.

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • CPR certification and Handle With Care (HWC) training must be completed within 30 days of employment.
    • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations as needed (up to 25%).
    • Availability Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Pay: $20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on certification, experience, and qualifications.
