Behavioral Technician

Location: Baltimore, MD
Pay Rate: $22–$28/hour based on experience

At Navra, we believe great schools start with great people. We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Behavioral Technician to support students in a K–12 school setting in Baltimore, MD.

As a K–12 School-Based Behavioral Technician, Your Days Will Include:

• Provide direct behavioral and classroom support to students with a variety of behavioral, developmental, and learning needs.

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and individualized strategies under the direction of school staff and behavioral specialists.

• Support students with emotional regulation, communication, social skills, and positive behavior development.

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support based on individual student needs.

• Collect and document behavioral data to help monitor student progress and the effectiveness of interventions.

• Utilize positive reinforcement, redirection, de-escalation, and other evidence-based behavioral strategies.

• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, BCBAs, related service providers, and other members of the student's educational team.

• Promote student independence, safety, participation, and success throughout the school day.

Job Details

• Position: Contract position with option to renew

• Setting: K–12 school-based

• Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

• Pay: $22–$28/hour based on experience

• Schedule: Follows the school calendar

Successful Candidates Possess

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience working with children or individuals with behavioral, developmental, or special needs preferred

• School-based, behavioral health, ABA, paraprofessional, or related experience is a plus

• RBT certification is a plus but not required unless specified by the school

• Strong communication, patience, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively with a school-based team

• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
