We are seeking a high-performing Regional Vice President (RVP) to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and financial accountability across multiple locations and business divisions within an assigned region.

This role serves as the senior operational leader responsible for driving profitability, customer retention, operational execution, retail excellence, and long-term growth initiatives while building and developing high-performing leadership teams.

Position Summary

The Regional Vice President is responsible for the overall financial and operational performance of an assigned geographic region, overseeing multiple business lines including:

  • Micro Markets
  • Vending Operations
  • Office Coffee & Refreshment Services (RFS)
  • Pantry Services
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Route Operations
  • Retail Operations
  • Service and Maintenance Operations

This leader owns regional P&L performance while partnering closely with Directors, Vice Presidents of Retail Operations, Warehouse Leadership, Operations Managers, Service Leadership, Sales Teams, and Corporate Departments to ensure consistent execution of company initiatives and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background leading large-scale multi-location operations, route-based businesses, retail execution teams, and high-volume service environments.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

Strategic Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all regional operations.
  • Drive execution of company objectives, operational standards, and growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to improve profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
  • Partner with executive leadership to align regional priorities with company objectives.
  • Lead regional initiatives related to operational efficiencies, process improvements, and organizational growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain visibility across all branches through frequent field visits and operational reviews.
  • Ensure consistency in service execution, merchandising standards, and customer experience.

Financial Ownership & Business Performance

  • Own full regional Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability.

  • Develop and manage budgets, labor models, forecasts, and financial plans.

  • Analyze operational and financial reporting to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Monitor and improve:

  • Labor performance

  • Revenue growth

  • Gross margin

  • Spoilage reduction

  • Inventory controls

  • Shrink reduction

  • Route profitability

  • Client retention

  • Collections performance

  • Partner with leadership teams to improve cost controls and operational efficiency.

  • Drive performance improvements through KPI management and accountability systems.

Leadership Development & Talent Management

  • Lead and develop Branch Managers, Operations Managers, Directors of Retail Operations, Warehouse Leadership, Maintenance Supervisors, and other operational leaders.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.
  • Establish succession planning strategies to build future leaders.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and development planning.
  • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.

Customer & Client Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain executive-level customer relationships.
  • Participate in key account reviews and client business meetings.
  • Partner with Sales teams on presentations, proposals, and growth opportunities.
  • Support regional business development initiatives.
  • Address escalated customer concerns proactively.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards across all business units.
  • Strengthen customer retention efforts and long-term partnerships.

Retail Operations & Merchandising Oversight

  • Oversee retail execution standards across Micro Markets and Vending operations.
  • Monitor merchandising compliance and promotional execution.
  • Ensure planogram compliance and inventory accuracy.
  • Review spoilage trends and waste reduction opportunities.
  • Validate proper stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory procedures.
  • Oversee warehouse inventory controls and replenishment systems.
  • Monitor labor utilization and route optimization strategies.
  • Support market launches, acquisitions, installations, and operational transitions.

Compliance, Safety & Fleet Management

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote workplace safety programs and maintain safety accountability.
  • Oversee fleet management to ensure vehicle readiness and maintenance standards.
  • Ensure facilities maintain cleanliness and operational readiness.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Compliance teams on employment practices and company initiatives.
  • Support DOT compliance requirements where applicable.
  • Communicate significant operational concerns to Executive Leadership promptly.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or related field preferred.

  • Equivalent leadership experience will be considered.

  • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in:

  • Multi-unit operations

  • Retail leadership

  • Route-based service industries

  • Food service

  • Distribution

  • Convenience retail

  • Operational management

  • Proven success managing large-scale operations and multi-site leadership teams.

  • Strong experience managing P&L performance and financial reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational growth and operational transformation initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, labor analysis, and operational reporting.
  • Exceptional leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience managing dynamic operational environments.
  • High level of organizational and project management capability.
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Word
  • Outlook
  • PowerPoint
  • Operational systems such as Vendsys, SmartHQ, ADM, Lightspeed, or similar platforms.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned regions.
  • Overnight travel required based on business needs.

  • Valid Driver's License required.
