A growing portfolio of commercial tree care branches requires unified leadership across financial performance, safety, and market development. Serving municipal, commercial, and utility customers, the operation competes in an environment where workforce expertise, fleet readiness, and the ability to mobilize rapidly for storm response are essential.

The Regional Vice President will oversee branch P&Ls, operational safety, and business development across multiple locations. The position calls for an experienced arboricultural leader who can develop ISA-aligned field teams, secure competitive municipal and commercial contracts, optimize fleet utilization, and maintain an emergency-ready operation capable of responding safely and profitably to storm-related demand.

KEY LEADERSHIP MANDATES

  • Regional P&L Ownership: Own revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA across multiple branch operations with direct accountability for financial performance.

  • Safety Culture Leadership: Institutionalize an ISA-compliant, ANSI Z133-aligned safety culture that protects the workforce, limits liability, and meets municipal and utility contract requirements.

  • Municipal & Commercial Business Development: Drive bid-to-win performance on municipal, utility, and commercial tree care contracts — building preferred vendor relationships that generate recurring revenue.

  • Storm & Emergency Response: Maintain 24/7 mobilization readiness to capture high-margin emergency and storm response work, managing crew deployment and equipment positioning for rapid activation.

  • Fleet & Equipment Asset Management: Own fleet utilization, preventive maintenance scheduling, and capital planning for a high-value, high-utilization equipment portfolio.

  • Branch Leadership Development: Recruit, develop, and hold accountable branch managers and crew leaders capable of running safe, profitable, autonomous operations.

  • Estimating & Bid Discipline: Drive estimating accuracy and bid strategy on commercial and municipal RFPs to protect margin at the point of sale.

  • Compliance & Certification: Ensure compliance with municipal, utility, and state arboricultural licensing, certification, and insurance requirements across all operating units.

IDEAL EXECUTIVE PROFILE

The successful candidate is an experienced arboricultural operations leader with a track record of running multi-branch tree care P&Ls. You have owned safety programs, managed ISA-certified crews, won municipal and commercial contracts, and led storm response operations. You are a systems-oriented P&L owner who builds accountable field leadership teams and manages high-risk operations without compromising margin or safety.

WHAT MAKES THIS OPPORTUNITY DISTINCT

This role offers regional command of an established commercial tree care platform with a strong municipal and commercial account base, fleet infrastructure, and storm response capability. You will have the authority to build the operational model, develop branch leadership, and drive EBITDA performance across a growing Midwest footprint. It is a high-leverage seat for an arboricultural leader ready to own a region.
