Position Details

Drivers are based Milford CT yard (345 Old Gate Lane) and support Westfied MA facility.

Drivers will start and stop their day at the Milford yard

POSITION DETAILS

• Regional position delivering Home Depot products from the distribution center to stores
• Drivers will begin their week at their respective RDC Locations
• For this position the drivers will start and stop their week in Westfield
• Drivers will deliver to a store or fellow RDC.
• Drivers will then continue their tours by picking up at backhauls in the areas previously mentioned and delivering to DC's within our operating area.
• 90% of backhauls are live load.
• Drivers will pick up backhauls for return to a distribution center.
• No touch freight.
• NO NYC
• Sleeper trucks that cannot be taken home for time off.
• Sleepers parked at the acct in Westfield for time off.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Regional drivers are required to help other J.B. Hunt accounts (outside of Home Depot account) if needed.
• Steel Toe''s boots required. Must have them for training as well. Cost reimbursed after 1 year.
• HAZMAT IS REQUIRED WITHIN 60 DAYS OF HIRE
• ACCT WILL REIMBURSE FOR THE COST OF THE HAZMAT FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TO GET IT AFTER HIRE.
