Position Details

Position Details:

• Will be hauling kitchen and bathroom cabinets that are packed individually in cardboard boxes and plastic (average weight is 50-100lbs+) - all freight is floor loaded.

• AT EACH STOP: Drivers detail unload - they will validate each piece of product delivered against the products ordered - Avg delivery time per stop is 1-1.5 hours.

• Drivers tailgate and down stack freight during unload.

• Driver will deliver product to the rear of the trailer with dealers moving product to the floor.

• Drivers are required to document arrivals, departures, upload BOLs, and take a picture of load securement at each stop.

• Drivers are expected to execute professional trip planning and include factors such as HOS, fueling, location of rest breaks, parking, weather, and appointment times.

• Having prior OTR experience and understanding of HOS rules/regulations if preferred and beneficial but not required.

• Drivers will call customers a day in advance and if they will not be on time for their delivery appointment.

• Driver may need to work off account to assist other accounts as needed and can volunteer for extra work as well to increase W2.

• Route Profiles:

• Dedicated dealer loads: Direct to dealer routes hauling Omega cabinets, averaging 8-12 stops/load.

• Cross-dock regional loads: Combined fleet operations hauling both Omega and Bertch Cabinets. These routes feature lower overall mileage but are higher frequency, averaging 25-30 stops/load (up to 40 stops max), delivering between 1-5 cabinets/stop.

• Double bunk - Automatic Trucks - with refrigerators
• Truck can be taken home for time off - with pre-approval from management
• Riders are permitted after 90 days
• Steel-toed boots ordered/provided for drivers or yearly reimbursement of $100
