Position Details

NOTE 1: DRIVER WHO LIVE NEAR THE SUPPORT HIRING AREA'S OF HARRISBURG, CONSHOHOCKEN, OR E BRUNSWICK WILL PARK AT THE TERMINAL OR A NEAR BY DCS ACCT FOR TIME OFF

NOTE: 2: THE E BRUNSWICK HIRING AREA INCLUDES NYC. THIS ACCT WILL TAKE DRIVERS WHO LIVE IN THE BUROUGHS IF THEY HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE EB YARD WEEKLY. TRUCKS WILL REMAIN AT EB YARD FOR TIME OFF.

Position Details:

• Driver will be hauling (hazmat building materials and construction type materials) from (the Bethlehem DC) to customer sites in (NY - including NYC, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, CT, NH, RI, VT, AND MA)

• Dry van deliveries will be live unload.

• Driver will be required to strap and unstrap for flatbed and curtain side trailers

• Drivers will not touch freight unless specified beforehand that a customer needs product tailgated. In that instance, freight will be brought to the tailgate with a manual pallet jack.

• Regional drivers do not deliver into the boroughs, though they do have to drive through/around new York to head up to the northeast

• Regional Drivers are expected to make deliveries their first day out and drive as far back to the DC/Warehouse as possible in order to pick up the next load the following day.

• They are expected to work the full 5 days. Layover runs may return on Saturday Morning. There are no "off" days during the week.

Special Requirements:

• Hazmat required within 60 days of hire.

• Tanker endorsement is preferred.

• Driver will receive Flatbed and Curtain side trailer training.

• Will be required to work on average of 1 day per week on other DCS or JBI accounts.

• Uniforms and steel toed boots and safety vest required and provided by account.

• Drivers will be required to drive in NYC.

Truck Information:

• Sleeper truck that are assigned.

• Truck must remain at account for time off

Drivers in this regional position will operate in NY, NJ, PA, MD, DE, VA, CT, NH, RI, VT and MA

Job Details:

• $7,500 bonus available for a limited time.
• $0.55 - $0.57 per mile
• Live stop pay: $40 - $50 per stop
• Trainee pay: $299 per day
• Safety training pay: $20 per hour
• Holiday pay: $200 per day
• Drivers in this position over the last six to twelve months have achieved annualized earnings of $100,000
• Weekly home time
