We’re looking for a Regional Support Specialist who’s excited to support volunteers, strengthen local Girl Scout communities, and help deliver life-changing leadership experiences for girls across the region.
What You’ll Do:
Be the go-to support person for regional volunteers and troop leaders
Help recruit, train, support, and recognize volunteer teams across assigned regions
Help volunteers confidently lead troops, affinity groups, events, and other Girl Scout experiences
Coach volunteers through questions, challenges, and conflict resolution situations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve volunteer and member experiences
Help identify community needs and implement strategies that strengthen volunteer support
Assist with regional programming, trainings, events, and recognition opportunities
Respond to member and volunteer questions via phone, email, and in person
Maintain accurate records and document interactions in CRM systems and council databases
Promote and support volunteer tools and resources like Volunteer Toolkit and Volunteer Essentials
Support membership retention and renewal outreach efforts
Assist families and members transferring into or across regions
Share resources, updates, and important information with volunteers and staff
Build inclusive, welcoming relationships with volunteers, members, and families
Support the mission and goals of Girl Scouts through additional projects and team initiatives as needed

What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
At least 1 year of experience in volunteer support, community engagement, or related work
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends for events or support needs
Bonus Points If You Have:
Experience supporting volunteers, youth programs, nonprofits, education, or community organizations
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
Experience handling conflict or customer/member support situations
Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools like Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
