Regional Sales Representative

Salary & Benefits:

• Base salary: $52,000+ depending on experience and responsibilities

• Additional bonus structure available

Position Overview:
Ka-Comm, Inc. is seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Representative to help deliver cutting-edge communication and public safety equipment to our customers. This includes two-way radios, dispatch consoles, emergency lighting, sirens, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in law enforcement communication equipment and a technical background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct personal visits and service calls with potential and existing customers to showcase our equipment and services

• Ensure the sales process runs smoothly, including communication and working with other  offices and other Sales representatives with internal sales support

• May include scheduled overnight travel for trade shows and customer events 

• Maintain accurate records for sales and administrative purposes

• Follow company rules, policies, and procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license

• Company vehicle to conduct business

• Experience with public safety equipment preferred

• Ability to operate a laptop, QuickBooks, and other sales tools

• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills

• Ability to read plans and interpret customer specifications

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

• Ability to meet schedules and deadlines

Knowledge & Skills:

• In-depth understanding of Ka-Comm, Inc.’s products and services

• Knowledge of applicable codes and safety regulations

• Experience navigating client needs and providing solutions

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

• Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, sometimes around machinery with moving parts

• Drive a company vehicle as needed

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and maintain energy for a 10-hour workday

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and co-workers
