Regional Sales Representative – Industrial Equipment

Chicago Region | Remote | Territory Travel

A well-established industrial manufacturer is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Representative to develop and grow business throughout the Chicago region and surrounding territory.

This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys getting into manufacturing plants, building relationships, understanding equipment challenges, and developing technical solutions — not sitting behind a desk waiting for leads.

What You'll Do

• Develop new business with manufacturers, OEMs, industrial end users, and other heavy-industry customers.
• Build relationships with plant managers, maintenance and reliability teams, engineers, purchasing, and operations leadership.
• Identify opportunities for engineered industrial equipment, replacement components, repair/rebuild services, and technical solutions.
• Grow existing accounts while actively opening new doors.
• Visit customer facilities and work with internal engineering and manufacturing teams to develop solutions.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of industrial B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrated success developing new business.
• Experience selling engineered products, industrial equipment, power transmission, rotating equipment, bearings, motors, drives, or related mechanical solutions.
• Comfortable walking a plant floor and having technical conversations.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory.

Compensation includes competitive base salary, uncapped commission, vehicle allowance, expenses, and benefits.
