    About Ergotronix

At Ergotronix, we believe Good Ergonomics = Good Economics.

We design and manufacture ergonomic material handling equipment that helps manufacturers improve workplace safety, increase productivity, and strengthen operational performance.

Our equipment helps workers lift, move, position, and handle materials safely and efficiently. From proven standard products to custom-engineered solutions, we solve challenging material handling problems that manufacturers face every day.

Our customers include leading companies in aerospace, automotive, metal fabrication, industrial manufacturing, and distribution. We work closely with their engineering, production, and safety teams to develop practical solutions that make a measurable difference.

Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Ergotronix is building its next chapter of growth. We are investing in our people, strengthening our capabilities, and expanding our national sales presence. We're looking for talented people who want to help build that future.

    Our purpose is simple:

We make hard work easier, dangerous work safer, and all work more profitable.

    The Opportunity

We're looking for a Regional Sales Manager who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and developing new business.

Ergotronix has proven products, strong inbound lead flow, and significant opportunities to expand in major manufacturing markets. We need someone who will get into manufacturing facilities, understand customer challenges, and build relationships that create lasting business.

Our ideal candidate is a hunter who thinks beyond the first sale. Someone who asks thoughtful questions, discovers opportunities others overlook, and earns the trust of engineers, plant managers, operations leaders, and purchasing professionals.

You'll own your territory, develop solutions with our team, and have the freedom to build your business with the support of experienced colleagues.

Winning orders is good. Winning customers for life is better.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop the Market

    • Own and grow an assigned geographic territory through proactive business development.
    • Identify promising manufacturers, visit facilities, and uncover material handling challenges.
    • Build relationships with engineers, plant managers, safety professionals, and purchasing teams.
    • Develop opportunities through direct prospecting, incoming leads, and relationships with distributors and integrators.
    • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.

    Win the Business

    • Understand customer applications, technical requirements, and operational challenges.
    • Recommend equipment solutions, collaborating with engineering and production when needed.
    • Prepare accurate, timely quotations with support from inside sales and engineering.
    • Communicate the value of improved safety, ergonomics, productivity, and operational performance.
    • Manage opportunities from discovery through quotation, negotiation, and purchase order.
    • Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and forecasts in our CRM.

    Grow the Customer

    • Own customer relationships before, during, and after the sale.
    • Stay engaged throughout order fulfillment, delivery, and post-sale support.
    • Work with our team to address customer questions, resolve problems, and honor commitments.
    • Expand relationships across departments, production lines, and facilities.
    • Build partnerships that generate repeat business, referrals, and new opportunities.

    Deliver Together

    • Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, production, and leadership to deliver customer solutions.
    • Communicate customer requirements clearly and follow through on commitments.
    • Share customer feedback and market insights to help improve our products and processes.
    • Take initiative, help colleagues, and contribute to a culture of shared success.

    How We Work

We're a small, growing company where every person makes a difference.

We don't say, "That's not my job." When something needs attention, we step forward, help one another, and find a way to get it done.

We value curiosity, initiative, humility, and accountability. Our customers see one company, not separate departments. We work together to deliver solutions we can all be proud of.

We take ownership of our work, responsibility for our commitments, and pride in each other's success.

    Qualifications & Experience

We're looking for someone who understands manufacturing, connects with people, and knows how to build a business.

    Required

    • At least five years of successful experience in industrial equipment sales, technical sales, business development, or a related field.
    • Proven ability to develop new business, build relationships, and close profitable sales.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing environments, industrial equipment, and mechanical applications.
    • Ability to work confidently with engineers, plant managers, production leaders, and purchasing professionals.
    • Technical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable owning a territory.
    • Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting.
    • Willingness to travel approximately 40–60%, with flexibility as business needs change.

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or another technical discipline. Equivalent experience will be considered.
    • Experience selling material handling equipment, industrial automation, lifting and positioning systems, or custom-engineered equipment.
    • Experience working with engineering and manufacturing teams on complex applications.
    • Established relationships in the assigned industrial markets.

We value technical competence, commercial drive, curiosity, and results over credentials alone.

    Compensation & Opportunity

We offer a competitive base salary and a performance-driven commission plan that rewards profitable growth.

We believe exceptional sales performance deserves exceptional rewards.

Commissions are based on gross profit, with the potential for successful RSMs to earn more in commissions than base salary.

You'll have the opportunity to build a territory, develop lasting customer relationships, and share directly in the growth you help create.

The position includes company benefits, reimbursement of approved business travel expenses, and support from our engineering, production, and inside sales teams.
