    Description

    Regional Sales Manager – Northeast

    Employment Type: Full Time

    Location: Northeast Region (Territory-Based)

    About Client

A global audio visual technology manufacturer delivering end-to-end solutions across AV-over-IP, signal management, control, collaboration, audio, and connectivity. Their technology powers education, enterprise, government, healthcare, and entertainment environments, and reaches the market through a network of system integrators, resellers, and distribution partners. With a focus on intuitive, reliable user experiences and strong partner relationships, they are a growing organization where collaboration, trust, and accountability are central to how they work.

    Why This Role

This is a chance to own a territory and build a business within it. As Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast, you will be the face of a respected AV technology manufacturer to the integrators, resellers, and end users who shape the region's market, with a direct impact on revenue and market share every quarter.

The role blends two kinds of selling that rarely come together: managing and growing a channel of resellers and distribution partners, and getting in front of end users to win business directly and earn long-term customers. If you thrive on strategy and execution in equal measure, you will have room to do both.

You will work in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment with the autonomy to run your territory your way, backed by corporate resources and a team sales culture when you need them. For a Pro AV sales professional with relationships already in place, it is an opportunity to turn that network into something bigger.

    Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and market share growth across the Northeast territory through the Pro AV and IT reseller channels and directly with end users. Time is split evenly between channel management, supporting current direct resellers and indirect resellers purchasing through distribution, and end user business development, using a direct-touch approach to establish long-term customers.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven hunter who combines strong relationship-building with disciplined execution, and who delivers exceptional, proactive service to every partner and customer in the region.

    Functional Responsibilities

    • Manage the Northeast territory, driving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales initiatives across the Pro AV and IT channels.
    • Dedicate roughly half of your time to channel management of direct resellers and indirect resellers purchasing through distribution.
    • Dedicate the remaining half to end user business development, building relationships directly with customers and creating long-term accounts.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with key players and decision makers across integrators, resellers, distributors, and end users.
    • Actively pursue new business opportunities at both the channel and end user level.
    • Represent the company at trade shows, end user events, and customer meetings to promote products and solutions.
    • Maintain accurate customer information and project pipeline in Salesforce.
    • Collaborate with a regional sales team and leverage corporate resources as needed to win and support opportunities.
    • Help resolve customer issues related to sales and service.
    • Travel regionally up to 50% of the time.

    Requirements

    • 5+ years of sales experience focused on hunting and managing high-level, complex client relationships from the supply chain down to the end user.
    • Pro AV experience required, with existing relationships in the Pro AV and IT reseller channels and with end users.
    • Proven sales success in both the Pro AV and IT arenas, with a strong understanding of the professional AV, networking, collaboration, and IT value chains.
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and manage strategic sales relationships and opportunities, with clear execution strength and solution selling skills.
    • Experience practicing value-added selling.
    • Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
    • Self-starter and motivated hunter who thrives in a high-growth, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Sound judgment, integrity, and credibility, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM.
    • Ability to travel regionally up to 50%.
