The Opportunity

We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who is motivated by growth, relationships, and winning business.

Serving electric material handling and ground support equipment applications, Ampure's PosiCharge combines intelligent charging, multi-chemistry support, battery monitoring, and connected fleet insights to help keep equipment charged, visible, and ready to work. You will enter a territory with an established partner network, providing a strong foundation for growth—but success requires actively creating new opportunities, not simply managing existing business.

You will expand existing relationships, activate underpenetrated accounts and dealer locations, win competitive business, identify new channel opportunities, and find creative ways to grow PosiCharge's market share. Success requires being in the market and in front of our partners. You should be technically credible enough to understand applications, discuss battery chemistries and charging strategies, and recognize opportunities while knowing when to engage PosiCharge's engineering, applications, and power study experts.

What You'll Do

  • Grow revenue and market share across your region through OEMs, dealers, resellers, and strategic channel partners.
  • Develop and execute a territory growth plan that expands existing relationships while proactively generating new opportunities.
  • Build pipeline through underpenetrated accounts and dealer branches, dormant relationships, competitive takeaways, and new reseller or channel opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with dealer principals, branch leaders, field sales teams, and other stakeholders who influence which charging solutions are promoted and sold.
  • Activate regional opportunities within national OEM and dealer partnerships, coordinating with the Director of Sales on broader account strategy.
  • Maintain a strong field presence through dealer visits, partner meetings, ride-alongs, trainings, industry events, and other face-to-face activities.
  • Identify and advance channel opportunities, participating in end-user discovery, fleet analysis, power studies, or larger strategic projects when needed.
  • Own opportunities commercially from qualification through close, including solution coordination, quoting, pricing discussions, negotiation, and conversion to purchase order.
  • Drive adoption of PosiCharge software, battery monitoring, and recurring revenue solutions as a core component of territory growth.
  • Maintain accurate opportunity, customer, activity, and forecast data in HubSpot CRM and provide Sales leadership with reliable forecasts, market intelligence, and partner feedback.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Applications, Marketing, and Operations to support partners and win business.

What Success Looks Like

  • Build toward approximately $1 million–$2 million in individual booked revenue during the first year and develop the territory into a sustainable annual contributor thereafter.
  • Consistently create new pipeline while increasing PosiCharge's share of business within existing OEM, dealer, and reseller relationships.
  • Win competitive opportunities and expand adoption of PosiCharge software, battery monitoring, and recurring revenue offerings.
  • Maintain strong field presence, disciplined CRM management, forecasting, and opportunity follow-through.
  • Contribute to team-wide sales performance while meeting established individual revenue expectations.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales, business development, territory management, or channel sales experience within material handling, forklift equipment, motive power, industrial batteries and charging, fleet equipment, or a closely related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a territory, generate new opportunities, build strong relationships, win competitive business, and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Experience working within dealer, distributor, reseller, OEM, or other channel-based sales models is strongly preferred.
  • Working technical knowledge—or the ability to quickly develop it—of industrial battery chemistries, charging systems, fleet applications, and related technologies.
  • Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, follow-through, and personal accountability, with the ability to independently manager a large geographic territory.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to establish credibility with experienced industry partners.
  • A collaborative approach to selling and the judgment to engage technical and cross-functional resources when needed.
  • Disciplined CRM usage and forecasting practices; HubSpot experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant industry or technical experience, preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50%, including frequent overnight travel, with convenient access to a major airport.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary of $90,000–$120,000
  • Performance-based variable compensation with the potential to earn up to an additional 100% of base salary
  • Health, Dental, and Vision insurance to ensure you and your family's health needs are met.
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (STD, LTD) insurance.
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) for additional financial flexibility.
  • 401K Retirement Plan to help you plan for a secure future.
  • Unlimited PTO Policy, allowing you to recharge and spend time with loved ones.
  • IDEA Program encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on work environment for collaboration
  • Referral Bonus Program incentivizing employees to bring talented individuals into our organization.
