Description
The Regional Safety & Health Manager - North Texas Region (NTR) serves as the senior safety leader for the region, directly supporting the Regional Office (RO) and General Manager (GM). This position reports to the Regional Global Practice Leader - Construction Design-Build while maintaining close coordination with the Regional Office Manager and Corporate Safety leadership to ensure alignment with Burns & McDonnell corporate HSES programs.
This role provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight to ensure compliance with Burns & McDonnell corporate HSES programs while tailoring implementation to the operational needs of North Texas.
In addition to project and field safety oversight, this role is responsible for maintaining safety within regional office environments, leading emergency preparedness initiatives, and actively participating in the Live Safer Council to strengthen regional safety culture and alignment with corporate initiatives.

Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Safety, Engineering, or Construction Management and 7 years of experience in a construction field environment Required or
Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. Required
7 years of progressive construction safety leadership experience preferred.
Thorough understanding of Texas and Oklahoma safety requirements preferred.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
Ability to provide or coordinate AED, First Aid, and CPR training preferred
Expert knowledge of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT) and other relevant regulations and construction safety standards.
This position requires driving to various locations
