Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for a Regional Property Manager for an apartment portfolio in Central/West St. Louis County. Monarch is the 10th largest apartment owner in the U.S., with 29 properties owned and managed in the St. Louis Metro area. POSITION:

Regional Property Manager for Central/West St. Louis County, MO

PAY:

$90,000-100,000 Annual Salary - Depending on Experience

Up to $12,000 a year in Quarterly Bonus potential

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30pm with (no weekends)

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support and partner with the Asset Manager in overseeing and managing their portfolio as directed.
  • Assist in assuring the financial success of each property by making strategic decisions to increase income, decrease expenses, and grow NOI.
  • Partner with and guide individual Property Managers on key duties, including capturing renewals, effective leasing, rent growth, bad debt collection, marketing and leasing, and adherence to Monarch policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead team success by maintaining a strong, positive, motivational leadership style
  • Help train, guide, mentor, and motivate site teams to achieve desired results.
  • Visit and inspect communities and vacant units regularly.
  • Coordinate and ensure completion of all required site employee training.
  • Prepare annual property budgets
  • Complete thorough reviews of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Assist property managers with challenging resident complaints or potential legal issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent formal training or certifications
  • 5+ years' experience in Multi-Family Housing as a Regional Property Manager or equivalent
  • Experience managing 30+ employees
  • Effective leadership style focused on team development and being a servant leader
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Conflict Resolution and timely problem-solving in an effective and respectful manner.
  • Intermediate technical proficiency, demonstrating understanding and application of knowledge in:
  • Full understanding of property financial statements
  • Budget preparation and implementation
  • Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Industry software. (Yardi preferred)
  • Local, state, and federal resident/property management laws/guidelines
  • Fair housing and all legal requirements specific to apartment property management
  • Local market expertise and knowledge within the region
  • Maintenance process and responsibilities
