Are you an experienced Regional Property Manager with a strong background in affordable housing, financial management, and team leadership? We're looking for an established Regional Property Manager to oversee a high-performing portfolio throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.
These are stable, well-performing communities with strong financials and a great team culture. We're not looking for someone to come in and fix broken properties-we're looking for a leader who can build on what's already working, develop their teams, maintain exceptional compliance, and continue moving the portfolio forward.
What You'll Do:
- Provide leadership and oversight for a portfolio of properties throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, managing a large team while developing Property Managers and ensuring training, accountability, and support are in place.
- Take ownership of property financial performance, including budgets, income statements, expense management, invoice coding, forecasting, and understanding the difference between operational and capital expenses.
- Evaluate capital needs across the portfolio, identify what needs to be repaired or replaced, prioritize projects, and work closely with Facility Coordinators to ensure projects are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with ownership, confidently discussing property performance, financials, capital needs, compliance, operational challenges, and solutions.
- Maintain exceptional compliance across HUD, LIHTC/Tax Credit, and Project-Based Section 8 communities, including preparation for regulatory inspections such as NSPIRE and REAC.
- Foster our collaborative, family-oriented culture by encouraging properties to support one another, sharing resources across communities, and creating an environment where teams work together to get things done.
What We're Looking For:
- This position requires previous Regional Property Manager experience overseeing multiple communities and teams. We're looking for someone who already understands the responsibilities and expectations of regional-level leadership and can step into a successful portfolio and continue driving performance.
- Financial knowledge is extremely important. You should be comfortable reviewing budgets and financial statements, identifying variances, understanding capital versus operating expenses, reviewing how invoices are coded, evaluating capital needs, and developing solutions when financial performance needs attention.
- You must also bring exceptional affordable housing compliance knowledge, including hands-on experience with HUD, LIHTC/Tax Credit, Project-Based Section 8, and regulatory inspections such as NSPIRE and REAC.
- Just as important is cultural fit. Our teams have a family-oriented, collaborative approach. When one property needs additional support, neighboring communities step in to help. We're looking for a leader who values that teamwork, builds strong relationships, and is willing to jump in when needed.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Paid time off and company holidays
- Opportunities for professional growth and advancement
- Supportive, collaborative, and team-focused work environment
