Regional Product Support Manager
South Dakota & Nebraska Region
Full-Time | Exempt
Compensation: Commensurate with Experience + Performance Incentives

Position Overview
A leading multi-location equipment dealership is seeking a Regional Product Support Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for aftermarket parts and service operations across four locations in South Dakota and Nebraska.
This role is responsible for driving profitability, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and employee development throughout the region. The Regional Product Support Manager will partner closely with branch leadership, service management, parts management, and executive leadership to improve key performance indicators, enhance customer support, and maximize aftermarket revenue opportunities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership experience within heavy equipment, agricultural equipment, power generation, truck, or related equipment dealership environments and have a proven track record of improving service and parts performance across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
Aftermarket Leadership
  • Provide leadership and direction for regional parts and service operations across four dealership locations.
  • Drive growth in aftermarket sales, gross profit, and customer retention.
  • Develop and execute regional strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Support branch leadership in achieving company objectives and performance goals.
Financial Management
  • Monitor and analyze key financial metrics including:
    • Service labor sales
    • Labor recovery rates
    • Service gross profit
    • Parts gross profit
    • Absorption rate
    • Inventory turns
    • Obsolescence levels
    • Warranty recovery
  • Assist branch managers and department managers in developing action plans to improve performance.
  • Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
Operational Excellence
  • Standardize processes and best practices across all locations.
  • Evaluate workflow, staffing levels, scheduling, and productivity metrics.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve customer experience and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer requirements and dealership operating standards.
Team Development
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop Parts Managers, Service Managers, Product Support Sales Representatives, and other aftermarket personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Identify succession planning opportunities and leadership development needs.
  • Promote a positive culture focused on accountability, customer service, safety, and teamwork.
Customer Engagement
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic customers throughout the region.
  • Assist in resolving escalated customer concerns.
  • Support customer retention and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify additional aftermarket opportunities.
Product Support Strategy
  • Work closely with Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSRs) and branch teams to increase customer engagement and equipment lifecycle support.
  • Develop strategies to improve preventive maintenance program participation, service contract penetration, and aftermarket parts sales.
  • Support field service growth initiatives and customer uptime programs.
Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a strong safety culture throughout all locations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement of workplace safety programs.
Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within equipment dealership, heavy truck, agricultural equipment, construction equipment, power generation, material handling, or related industries.
  • Multi-location management experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of dealership parts and service operations.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational metrics.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout South Dakota and Nebraska.
Preferred
  • Experience managing Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSRs).
  • Experience with OEM dealer programs and manufacturer performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with dealership business systems and reporting tools.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
