    Description

    We are seeking a high-performing Regional Plant Manager to lead all aspects of operations at a large-scale industrial facility. This is a critical leadership role requiring full ownership of plant performance, team development, and strategic execution.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead day-to-day plant operations including production, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and team performance.
    • Own and manage the full P&L; drive financial countability across departments.
    • Ensure the site meets or exceeds performance targets aligned with corporate KPIs.
    • Direct capital and operating budgets, with oversight of a significant annual maintenance spend.
    • Champion continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or other proven systems.
    • Build a culture of excellence through hiring, coaching, and team development.
    • Oversee proactive equipment care and reliability planning.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
    • Serve as the site’s public-facing leader in community engagement efforts.


    Qualifications & Experience:

    • 5–10 years of senior-level plant or facility operations leadership.
    • Strong background in industrial sectors such as mining, aggregates, materials, or chemicals.
    • Experience managing capital projects and overseeing large maintenance budgets.
    • Proven ownership of P&L for a full-site operation.


    Skills & Competencies:

    • Expert-level understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
    • Six Sigma familiarity or certification is a plus.
    • High mechanical aptitude; familiarity with large-scale processing equipment.
    • Excellent leadership presence — confident, communicative, and accountable.
    • Proficiency with budgeting, KPIs, and ERP platforms.


    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related technical field strongly preferred.
