Regional Payroll Specialist

A day in the life:

Process. Review. Balance. Resolve.

• Process payroll on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Follow established guidelines, policies, and procedures for weekly payroll processing and balancing across multiple branches
• Gather, review, and accurately input payroll data
• Examine payroll reports to identify discrepancies and resolve errors proactively
• Ensure reports are balanced and payroll records are properly maintained
• Perform weekly and monthly billing processing for assigned branches
• Process client invoices in accordance with specific client requirements
• Initiate and prepare debit and credit memos as needed
• Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and billing issues
• Maintain compliance with company safety guidelines and report any safety concerns
• Perform additional duties as assigned

What you'll need:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous payroll processing experience required
• Working knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax withholding concepts
• Strong administrative and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to timely and accurate responses
• Working knowledge of labor and employment laws
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and present a professional image at all times
