REGIONAL OPERATIONS DIRECTOR - MULTI-UNIT FOOD & BEVERAGE
As the Regional Operations Director - Multi-Unit Food & Beverage, you will lead the operational and financial performance of multiple food and beverage locations within an assigned region. You will develop and support General Managers, drive consistent execution of company standards, and champion exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for a hands-on, results-oriented leader who can develop people, analyze business performance, identify opportunities, and drive results across multiple locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple food and beverage locations within the assigned region.
- Coach, develop, and hold General Managers accountable for operational, financial, guest service, and team performance.
- Conduct regular location visits to evaluate operations, guest experience, cleanliness, food and beverage quality, service standards, staffing, and overall execution.
- Establish clear priorities and action plans for each location based on business needs and performance.
- Drive regional performance in sales, profitability, labor, food and beverage costs, inventory, productivity, and other key operating measures.
- Review P&Ls, budgets, forecasts, and operating results to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with General Managers to improve underperforming locations, increase revenue, improve productivity, control expenses, and strengthen profitability.
- Ensure appropriate inventory management, purchasing controls, cash handling, and loss-prevention practices.
- Develop, coach, and retain high-performing General Managers and operational leaders while identifying and developing future leadership talent.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, hospitality, recognition, and continuous improvement.
- Champion a guest-first culture and ensure locations consistently meet company expectations for food and beverage quality, hospitality, speed of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Monitor guest feedback and partner with location leadership to address recurring service concerns and improve guest satisfaction.
- Ensure company policies, operating procedures, promotional programs, menu initiatives, and brand standards are consistently executed throughout the region.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, alcohol-service requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor audits, inspections, incidents, and compliance results and ensure timely corrective action.
- Partner with Finance, Human Resources, Marketing, Training, Culinary, Facilities, Supply Chain, and other departments to support operational objectives.
- Communicate company initiatives, expectations, priorities, and performance goals clearly and consistently across the region.
- Provide senior leadership with timely insight into business performance, operational challenges, staffing needs, and emerging opportunities.
- Support new location openings, remodels, operational transitions, and other strategic initiatives as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming and ABLE license.
- 7-10 or more years of leadership experience in food and beverage, restaurant, hospitality, or a related multi-unit environment.
- 5+ years of multi-unit management experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success leading General Managers and geographically dispersed teams.
- Strong understanding of restaurant or food and beverage operations, including labor management, inventory, food cost, guest service, and profitability.
- Proven ability to read and manage P&Ls, budgets, forecasts, and operational performance metrics.
- Strong coaching, leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to identify performance gaps and translate data into practical action plans.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with common business, scheduling, POS, reporting, and productivity systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned region, including frequent location visits.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to respond effectively to urgent operational issues.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 7-10 hours per day while working in a fast-paced, high-volume food and beverage environment.
- Ability to regularly move throughout restaurant, kitchen, bar, storage, office, and guest-service areas.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, and perform repetitive movements as required by operational responsibilities.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment with moderate to high noise levels, frequent interruptions, and changing operational demands.
- Ability to work in areas that may experience temperature variations, including kitchens, refrigerated storage areas, outdoor areas, and other casino food and beverage environments.
- Ability to safely navigate wet or potentially slippery surfaces, stairs, tight work areas, and other conditions commonly found in food and beverage operations.
- Ability to travel between assigned locations and perform regular on-site operational assessments.
