Regional Manager, Sales & BD Radio Test Solutions

General Summary:

The Regional Manager of Sales & Business Development (RTS) will make an immediate impact on the business by identifying new business opportunities and new customers. You will work autonomously to influence and partner with internal and external stakeholders. Understanding business unit products and services combined with the ability to work with technical experts to identify solutions, which will meet customers'' needs and requirements is crucial.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to identify trends in order to do more or less of what''s (not) working
• Build a strong foundation, with customers and end users alike.
• Build relationships with internal business partners including Marketing and Sales
• Build relationships with Distribution & manufacturer rep network
• Be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact to the Lead Generation team and company-wide in the Radio Test Market
• Be seen as a mentor, leader, and coach to other new members of the team
• Develop and execute broad organizational strategic plans. Identify and qualify business opportunities.

Education/Experience:

• 7+ years of Extensive experience in the Radio Test Market with Radio OEMs i.e... Motorola, Kenwood, Harris, Hytera, Icom Tait, Subscribers/ end users, radio shops, dealers, installers and network implementation providers.
• 5+ years of RF troubleshooting and debug we deep understanding of RF principles, autotune, antenna tuning, frequency modulation, and RF interference.
• 7+ years of recent experience in a Lead or Demand Generation and Pipeline Management via CRM.
• Passion for prospecting and sales best practices
• Experience with prospecting techniques, building cadences, and writing compelling messaging
• Well versed in data derived insights - e.g. Excel, dashboards, reports, BI
• Self-motivated, team player with a "hungry" go get attitude as this is a fast-paced goal driven team.
• Solid communication skills both written and oral.
• Must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, be very details orientated, and have strong organizational and time management skills.
• For the Government Business Unit, must be a U.S. Citizen and qualify for a secret clearance.

Computer Skills:

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite of programs such as Word, Excel, Access and Power Point, HTE, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Deltek CostPoint, and other electronic document management systems.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities to start but as department grows will have direct reports.

60-70 % Travel Required. Both National and international Travel expected
